Situation

Smart move to digital parking management

This apartment complex in The Hague had 40 parking spaces and had been using an outdated access system based on physical cards and tags for years. In practice, this led to misuse: residents shared their cards with others, giving unauthorised parkers free access. The manager had little control over who parked when, and supervision required physical presence on site. The situation called for a future-proof and manageable solution.

Solution

Simple cloud-based management

With the Base version of Park-R, this apartment complex switched to licence plate recognition and digital parking management. No more physical tags or cards: the manager now oversees everything remotely through the online management portal. An app for residents was deliberately left out, keeping control with the manager, who makes updates whenever needed. Each apartment has a fixed parking space, assigned and managed centrally. The system runs entirely on licence plate recognition, requiring no extra hardware or complex configuration.

Result

Peace of mind, clarity and
less administration

The apartment complex now has full control over parking use. Unauthorised parkers are a thing of the past, residents enjoy greater peace of mind, and the manager no longer needs to be on site for access requests or changes. With Park-R’s simple digital environment, parking management is clear, efficient and easy to handle remotely.
