Westpoint: North Brabant’s tallest residential tower
In October 2023, the residents’ association of Westpoint chose Park-R Base: a SaaS solution for licence plate recognition and efficient parking management. At 141 metres tall, Westpoint is the highest residential tower in North Brabant, with a car park that is heavily used by residents on a daily basis.
The association wanted a solution that would give residents convenient access without complicated reservations, cards or unnecessary features. A key requirement was that each resident could manage their own licence plates while the association retained insight and control over the use of the car park.

At Westpoint, Park-R Base was implemented as an accessible all-in-one solution. The two entrances to the parking garage are equipped with ANPR cameras that automatically recognise residents’ licence plates, opening the barrier instantly without cards or buttons. Exit is handled just as smoothly through loop detection, ensuring fast and reliable traffic flow.
Each resident can easily manage their licence plates in the Park-R app, based on the number of parking spaces they rent. This provides residents with the flexibility they want, while the association prevents misuse. Management is handled through an online dashboard that gives real time insight into all access activity, so the association always stays in control without needing to be physically present. The deliberate choice was made to exclude reservations and guest access, keeping the system straightforward and exclusive to residents.
