Situation

Simple licence plate management for a shared business car park

At the Rivium Quadrant business park in Capelle aan den IJssel, two companies shared a single car park with multiple access points. The old setup created confusion: who was allowed in, and how was this checked? Both organisations wanted to eliminate physical cards and manual registrations. Their goal was a modern solution that would be simple, fair and transparent.

Solution

Licence plate recognition
as the key to simplicity

At Rivium Quadrant, the choice was made to implement Park-R Base. Both entrances are equipped with ANPR cameras that automatically register licence plates. Employees gain instant access as soon as their plate is recognised, without cards, apps or manual actions.

Exit is handled smoothly via loop detection, with the barrier opening automatically. Since no counting or limits are required, the system remains straightforward yet flexible enough to upgrade easily to a Pro module in the future.

Each organisation has its own management environment within Park-R. This means companies manage only their own employees and vehicles, while the system centrally records all activity. The result is clarity, security and independent management — ideal for a site shared by multiple companies with multiple access points.

Result

Easy access and
clear management

Employees now enter directly via licence plate recognition, with no waiting times or physical access devices. Each company manages its own licence plates, while the system automatically records everything in the background. The result: clarity for the manager and convenience for the users.
