Multi-tenant car park
's-Hertogenbosch

Situation

Control over shared parking
in a busy city centre

In a shopping district in the centre of ’s-Hertogenbosch, several businesses shared a gated car park. Each tenant was entitled to a fixed number of spaces, but in practice the use of universal remote controls caused confusion and misuse. Companies could operate each other’s barriers, often leading to more vehicles on site than allowed. The result: frustration for business owners who paid fairly but were unable to use their own allocated spaces.

Solution

Park-R brings clarity and fairness

To prevent these situations, Park-R was introduced as the central tool for access and management. Each company now has its own account within the shared location. Employees are added by licence plate, and the system automatically counts how many vehicles each company has on site. Access is then regulated accordingly, ensuring every business can only use the number of spaces agreed.

Everything is centrally managed yet separated per company, safeguarding privacy while giving each organisation full visibility of its own parking data, users and activity. The system runs on ANPR licence plate recognition, ensuring smooth traffic flow with minimal effort for the user.

Result

Fair allocation and satisfied users

With Park-R, manual checks are no longer needed, access is fully transparent, and tensions between tenants have disappeared. Each company has control over its own parking situation, while the manager retains full oversight of the entire site.
